Why Bucket Manor?

Bucket, in all his glory

So why Bucket Manor?  This is Bucket.  He was abandoned in a large painter’s bucket with two of his siblings.  He was the runt of the litter, with a heart problem.  But Dave couldn’t resist the one stand-up ear and one floppy ear, and he was sold.  So he rescued Bucket and has given him a loving home. (And Laine has dog-sat for him sometimes too.)

Bucket loves the outdoors.  Fetch is his favorite game, and if you throw a tennis ball or even a pine cone, he will be your best friend for life.  So it seemed natural to name the house after him. He won’t be there when you go up to the house, but the spirit of him is always around.
